Rambler’s Way…Wool Clothing for Today

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Ramblers Way. All opinions are 100% mine.

Growing up as a child…the idea of Wool clothing isn’t really necessary. It is, California, after all…warm, sunshine…hot! Who needs wool? Well, I’ll tell you that I do! Why? Because Rambler’s Wool has created sensational clothing that can be used all year long. Items like comfortably soft tank tops, undies and t-shirts!

Perfect for layering, lounging and living in!

Of course, most people think of wool and images of sheep come to mind and the feeling of itchy, heavy sweaters may also pop in to your head. Just kick those old stereotypes out of your mind and swing over to Rambler’s Way…they have amazing wool products.

See the amazing “wool” tank top here in my post. Who would have ever thought that a beautiful, breathable, soft tank top would be made from wool? Well, obviously Rambler’s Way did. If I had a shopping spree from Ramblers Way…I would be picking up tank tops, undies, robes and a few things for my hubby too! Rambler’s Way has perfected the use of modern-technology to create soft light-weight wool clothing.

Whether you are an outside girl or total “diva” like yours truly…you’ll find fantastic items for yourself and your whole family. Just looking through their on-line site starts my Christmas wish list. I can almost feel the softness of their clothing.

I am hooked on Rambler’s Way…I think you will be too!

KillerKuisine Provides a Dose of Fabulous Food and Superb Entertainment

Looking for a unique dining experience this weekend? Well… look no further… because recently, we found the perfect combination of delicious food and quality entertainment! (It is kind of rare to get both at a reasonable cost these days…don’t you think?)

Where is such a place you ask? In the Inland Empire? I know it may be hard to swallow…but, I promise…this isn’t your ordinary mix of dinner and a movie.

Take a look at what KillerKuisine.com has to offer… because you will not be disappointed! For us, it was one of the most satisfying three hours of entertainment we experienced so far this year!

Here’s why…

We arrived at Café Calato just before 7:00 pm, which is located in Rancho Cucamonga. I must admit, we had never even heard of Café Calato before arriving for our reservation. (We later discovered they have been in the area for 20 years) I have to plug KTIE 590 AM for turning us on to Café Calato and KillerKuisine.com Thanks a million to Alan, Jeff, and the Let’s Dine Out Show!

The Murder Mystery dinner was served in a banquet room toward the back of the restaurant. As we entered the banquet area we were greeted by staff from KillerKuisine who provided us a personal menu and an information guide that introduced us to the murder suspects. We were also given a name card that became our “alter egos” for the evening. I was “Harry Belafonte” and my wife was “Doris Day”. (We sat across from Adam West and Katherine Hepburn.) The name cards helped break the ice with other guests…even though none of us even came close to looking like our alter egos.

The service was excellent from the start. The staff from Café Calato was very personable and attentive. We were promptly served drinks and a delicious appetizer of bread bites… covered in warm garlic butter.

During this time the actors were mingling with us and other guests…providing subtle clues and expressing a little of their personalities. This was also a good time to ask lots of questions of our characters. (Hint, hint!)

Dinner choices consisted of a wide variety of dishes including baked spaghetti, lasagna, ravioli and shrimp pasta. Our food was served throughout the evening and included a salad, a main dish, and dessert. Soft drinks were also included with our meal but wine and alcoholic drinks were extra. I ordered the baked spaghetti and my wife ordered the lasagna. The food was absolutely delicious! All of it!!

As the performance unfolded, we were entertained by a talented group of young actors. Characters such as Rock, Cherry Pitt, Billy Club, and Nova Devoe were all very unique…and very expressive. (Reflecting back, it was difficult to pick a favorite actor…so you’ll need to decide for yourself.) One of the unique features of the night was the opportunity for guests to interact in a few scenes with the other actors. This made for some funny and unpredictable scenes. If you think you have some acting talent, this could be your chance to prove it.

As the suspense was building, we were allowed to take a moment to reflect on the clues and the “physical evidence”, which was displayed on a nearby table, before the Final Cut was performed. This is when the murder takes place and the plot unfolds. Before the suspect was revealed, we all provided our best guess on the killer’s identity by filling out a short, written explanation, and providing it to one of our actors. (By the way…there is a reward for identifying the correct killer)

As we waited for the killer to reveal the facts, the owner of Café Calato spent a few minutes with us explaining the quality of food served at the restaurant. Fresh ingredients and homemade dishes seem to be the secret to his success.(I would agree that the quality of the food was an important part of our overall experience.) He even explained that the Cafe offers gluten-free pizza and pasta that can be ordered ahead of time so that those customers and families who dine in can all eat their meals at the same time. (Gluten-free pizza takes much longer to prepare.)

The Final Act was then revealed … with a surprising twist that I won’t reveal at this time. (You’ll have to experience it yourself) After dinner the actors were introduced by their real names and they offered to mingle with us for a photo opportunity. If we had thought about bringing a camera, we would’ve taken a group shot as a keepsake. Maybe next time…

The entire experience was just under three hours but it never seemed to drag. On the drive home we had a few laughs reflecting on the actors and their personalities. We also had leftovers to finish over the weekend.

Overall, it was a very memorable date night for us. In fact, the folks from KillerKuisine.com explained that they have planned different skits and new actors every 4-6 weeks. We enjoyed the experience so much … I already put the date down for our next dinner. We’re dying to see how the next performance plays out!

Like the title of this post explains…if I had to sum it all up in a few short words… I would say, “KillerKuisine cooks up entertainment to die for!” Check out their website for all the details! Make a reservation at KillerKuisine.com … and have a great time!
